Vail Farmers' Market-Sundays in Vail Village

Visit the Vail Farmer's Market from June 15 through September 7, 2008  the largest farmers’ market in the Colorado Rockies. Located in the heart of Vail Village on East Meadow Drive, surrounded by Vail’s famous mountains, the Vail Farmers' Market takes place every Sunday, starting at 10:00 a.m. Focusing on farm and food products, the Market attracts some of the best vendors in Colorado. The Vail Farmers' Market has grown to more than eighty tents each week and draws over 75,000 visitors.

Farmers arrive early every Sunday morning with refrigerated trucks loaded with freshly picked conventional and organic fruits and vegetables. Specialty vendors work from colorful tents selling freshly made breads, pastries, cheeses and ice cream. Others offer delightful selections of pastas, pickles, brats, Thai specialties, honey, jams, jellies, chocolates, salsas, olive oils, vinegars, soaps, dog biscuits/treats, wines, jerky, coffee beans, smoked salmon and more. Selections change weekly. Local arts & crafts vendors show off their wares while food vendors tickle the palate with crepes, roasted almonds, fudge, lemonade, coffee drinks, wraps, brats and much more. Live entertainment features Jazz at the Market with guest appearances by classical and popular groups.
