Lionshead Village has seen many recent improvements and additions to its Village Area. In 2007, the skiier bridge was widened and improved. In late 2007,Vail Square opened with the Arrabelle hotel and skier services serving guests, along with several restaurants and many new retail shops and boutiques. A new RockResorts Spa is also open, along with an ice skating rink.

Vail Square has become a new hub of activity and is only the beginning of the redevelopment of LionsHead. New Lionshead retaurants include Vail Chophouse, Blue Moose Pizza, and Centre V Brasserie.
